Abstracts not selected for this event may be nominated for presentation at future AFEI sessions or NDIA Cyber Division events.
CYBERWEST is your opportunity to demonstrate thought leadership to a highly qualified audience wanting to learn the latest in cybersecurity.
We invite high-quality, professional presentations that integrate with the theme and address the focus areas being featured in the 2015 sessions. The topics reflect the impact that cybersecurity is having our businesses, our communities, and our world. Share your best practices, successes, and proven techniques to an audience representing an array of government, commercial industry and academia.

Supply chain security and resilience
Making supply tiers secure, counterfeits/fraud, best practices for securing vendor remote access, audit and accountability, assessing suppliers
Critical infrastructure and control systems
Cyber-physical systems, reliability and safe operation, protecting ICS/SCADA systems, engineering/manufacturing/business/logistics systems interfaces, impacts of mobility and end-point security
Cyber defense and mitigation
Attribution, recovery and resilience (time cost and other factors); trends in tools to identify and thwart cyber-attacks; detect breaches; assist in rapid recovery

SUBMIT AN ABSTRACT
Presentation abstracts must include proposed presentation title, an informative session abstract (50 – 150 words) that addresses how the topic relates to the theme, and contact information and bio for the submitter.
CYBERWEST maintains a 100% vendor neutral / no commercial policy for all session presentations. If speakers cannot respect this policy, they should not submit a proposal. Violating this policy will result in the company/organization not being invited to return.
Abstract submission portal opens early December.
Deadline for submission is January 5, 2015.
AFEI is an affiliate of the National Defense Industrial Association and this is NDIA’s standard abstract submittal process.
Submittal instructions: Submissions must include proposed presentation title, an informative session abstract (50 – 150 words) that addresses how the topic relates to the theme, and contact information and bio for the submitter.
Submitters must complete all required fields for the abstract to be submitted.
