Excellence in Enterprise Integration Awards
The Association For Enterprise Integration (AFEI) is pleased
to announce the winners for the 2003 Excellence in Enterprise
Integration
Awards. The awards will be presented during AFEI’s Enterprise
Integration EXPO on Wednesday, September 24, 2003.
There were over sixty nominations submitted for the 2003 program.
The purpose of the EI Excellence Awards program is to recognize
and reward the contributions and achievements of project teams
and individuals that exemplify excellence in achieving integrated
enterprises.
The selected organizations demonstrated the best applications
of technology and leadership to improve enterprise performance.
In addition, real implementations, breadth of the project, clear
and innovative use of technology, plus strategic impact were all
significant features among the winning nominations.

AFEI is pleased to recognize Air Force Material Command and Air
Force Space Command for outstanding leadership in the organizational
re-alignment and transformational adoption of capabilities-centric
acquisition to enable Air Force Enterprise Integration. All levels
of command within the Air Force have embraced and endorsed the
EI approach for policy implementation. The Air Force is commended
for the extraordinary breadth and magnitude of this effort. The
extent and scale of this nomination compelled AFEI to make this
unique and prestigious award.
