 2015 Nomination Schedule and Process 

Please note that we have delayed award notification becasue of a schedule conflict with judging.  We now anticipate making an announcment By Mid December.

Excellence in Enterprise Information Award Schedule

Opening of Nominations - August 31, 2015
Closing of Nominations - November 9, 2015 (12:00 AM EDT)
Award Recipients Announced on or about November 21, 2015 (delayed)
Scheduling of Award Presentation - December 4-11, 2015

Nomination Criteria and Selection

AFEI presents its Excellence in Enterprise Information Awards to the top government and the top industry teams that have made significant advancements in Enterprise Information. There are 5 categorical sections in the nomination submission.  The award recipients are selected based on the submitted criteria in these categories:

  • Innovation
  • Financial Impact
  • Operational Consequence
  • Cultural Change

Instructions for Online Nomination Submissions

Note: Nomination paper forms are will no longer be available for submission. The online process will be the method for the AFEI EEI AWARD.

The Online Nomination Format

The categories for the selection criteria remains the same for 2015.
Each category will have a separate text box with a character limitation.
No graphics or charts can be uploaded or placed in the text box.

You may type directly into each Categorical text box or use MS Word or Notepad to create your overall submission for character count and spell checking. Use the copy and paste function to place into the text box per each category.  The character count outlined under each category will assist with the (3) three-page limit on nomination submission.

The Contact Page 
1. The contact page will not be counted within the page limit and will be separate from the panel of judges.  
2. Please indicate "permission to publish" and include a short synopsis during the online process.  "No response" will be treated as declining permission.

Be sure to include organization name, point of contact and potential program name. Nominations should apply to recent projects. Nominations should be approximately three pages.  

Nominations will not be considered after the designated submission deadline schedule

Should revisions need to be made to submissions already sent and received, you may email your request to revise and notify of newest version at [email protected] with the original Submission ID ### in the subject line.  Please do not Re-submit multiple versions. All submissions must be finalized and received by the scheduled due date. 

Note: Final results will be announced to the Point of Contact Nominator addressed in the online submission unless otherwise indicated on the  Contact Page.
