The DCGS Industry Advisory Group participated in the 2009 DCGS Worldwide Conference October 26-29 in Virginia Beach, VA. 

Vince Snyder, Lockheed Martin briefed the DCGS Governance Board at the close of their business meeting on October 26.

The Business Model Sub-group met with the Governance Board following this briefing.  The discussion was led by Dr. Tim Pavlick of IBM.

The SOA Acquisition Sub-group met with interested members of the DCGS Governance Board on Wednesday, October 28.  The discussion was led by Rob Walker, Oracle.

Vince Snyder chaired the Industry Panel in the conference Thursday, October 29.  Panelists included:

• Hon Patrick Gorman, Booz Allen Hamilton and former CIO, DNI
• Hon Robert Cresanti, SAP and former Undersecretary of Technology, Department of Commerce
• LTG Stephen Boutelle, CISCO and former G6/CIO of the Army
