- Promote understanding of agile methods and their implications, adoption requirements, and benefits.
- Host agile workshops series that focuses on bringing together recognized experts in the agile domain to address specific agile adoption challenges in the Defense acquisition system and make the outcomes publicly available.
Current Activity
ADAPT is currently working on providing input to the development of a DoD issue paper that addresses Agile IT Acquisition implementation that will be submitted in early August. Current emphasis is on collecting data on agile success stories in government and industry to support a business case for the typical savings DoD can expect from implementing agile processes. The case studies need to be defendable and have sufficient documentation to demonstrate relevance and credibility.
