Continue to build out the seven required elements to establish federation agreements that enable information sharing.

Participate in Identity Protection and Privilege Management Forum to address identity issues that are fundamental to secure information sharing.

Focus:
Provide industry input on issues relating to secure information sharing.

Background:

The information sharing working group published a paper on approaches to federation between Federal agencies for the purpose of information sharing.  The report, "Federated Governance of Information Sharing within the Extended Enterprise", was submitted to the DoD Information Sharing Executive on January 15, 2008.
