AFEI provides opportunities for industry and government personnel to discuss and share information on issues of immediate interest and importance to the community.

Each working group has one or more government “sponsors” who challenge the group on issues that are critical to the working groups interest area.

Working groups afford industry the opportunity to demonstrate their innovation and thought leadership, to understand the problems and future opportunities from government, and to influence the strategies and thinking of government based on industry experience.

Government then has the opportunity to get its message out, influence solution strategies and product development, and listen to the collective wisdom and experience of its industry partners.

Leadership of a working group is reserved for AFEI members.
