6th Annual Department of Defense Enterprise Architecture Conference

April 11 - 15, 2011
Hampton, VA

The conference focus is on how architecture delivers capability to the warfighter.

Tutorials, workshops and breakout sessions will be themed to address

  • how architecture is delivering capability today in joint and coalition mission areas,
  • what policy and governance initiatives are helping drive architecture across the enterprise, and
  • what education, training and certification architects need to develop success-oriented competency and career paths that enable enetrprise architect capabilities.

The focus going forward is on getting value from architecture in delivering operational capability, making executive decisions based on analytical analyses, portfolio management and capability investment, infrastructure consolidation and efficiency, and the policies, governance and training necessary to grow architecture competency across the enterprise.

Participants will include DoD CIO, select Combatant Commands, Combat Support Agencies, Services, academia and industry.
