 Excellence in Enterprise Information 

The Association for Enterprise Information (AFEI) presents the Excellence in Enterprise Information Awards Program on an annual basis. (Formerly the Excellence in Enterprise Integration Awards).

These awards recognize the contributions and achievements of government and industry project teams, as well as visionary leaders, in advancing enterprise integration and information environments.

AFEI and NDIA, the parent organization of AFEI, have a long history of recognizing outstanding performance and leadership.

 2012 Award Winners

AFEI is proud to announce the winners of its 2012 Excellence in Enterprise Information Awards.

Government Category

Winner

Department of Veterans Affairs, Veteran Health Administration for its Project Management Accountability System.

Honorable Mention Awards

Mobile Information Collection Application (MICA), performed by the US Army Engineer Research and Development Center, Vicksburg, MS

Training Technological Transformation performed by the USAF 505th Training Squadron, Hurlburt Field, FL

Live Training Transformation, performed by the Project Manager Training Devices (PM TRADE), US Army PEO STRI, Orlando, FL.

Industry Category

Winner

CGH Technologies of Washington, D.C. for its Federal Notice to Airman System Modernization program.

Honorable Mention Award

Air Force Automated Education Management System (AFAEMS), performed by BAM Technologies of Arlington, VA

A Strong Field

Congratulations to all winners, and to those who made the effort to submit nominations.  AFEI received 71 nominations for the award this year.  These represent a sampling of the extraordinary work being done by project teams to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of information technology in their enterprises.  To further recognize these programs AFEI  is engaged with the Federal CIO Council  Management Best Practices Committee in their effort to give visibility accross the whole-of-government to the excellent projects represented by these nominations.

Submissions due: Friday, September 30, 2013

Results out: Winners Announced November 12, 2013
